When naming cables, the format used is as follows:
C#$ where C represents Cable, # represents the TOTAL number of sts in the cable, and $ represents whether to hold the transitioning sts in front (F) or in back (B) of work. For example, C4B would mean to slip 2 sts onto cable needle and hold them in back of the work, k2 from left needle, k2 from cable needle. Likewise, C8F would mean to slip 4 sts onto cable needle and hold in front of work, k4 from left needle, k4 from cable needle.
