This cozy sleeper is worked from the top-down, seamlessly, and in the round. Mainly done in Stockinette stitch, with a bit of seed stitch detail, it is an easy and relaxing knit. Of note, the unusual thing about this bag sleeper is that it includes a handy little pacifier/teether holder right on the garment! In addition, all the “buttons” are actually bobbles - totally safe for baby. Diaper changing is simple, as the bottom just unbuttons and folds down, and the size can be adjusted by buttoning on top of the shoulder.

Make Button Loop: Thread a tapestry needle with an approximately 20 inch piece of yarn and tie a knot at the end. Insert the needle from back to front where you want the button loop to be and pull through. Make sure the knot is anchored. Place the yarn over finger to make the size needed for your loop. Bring the yarn back through the work ¼ inch from where the yarn was originally inserted. Bring the yarn up through the first hole again. Repeat two times, making the loop 3 strands thick and ending with the yarn on the loop side of the work. * Now, with the work held in your left hand, bring the yarn up and over your left index finger and through the button loop from bottom to top. Bring the yarn through loop that is on your left index finger, from front to back. Remove finger. Push this knot to beginning of buttonhole loop. Repeat from * to make enough knots to cover whole button loop. Weave in yarn end.
