One of my favorite childhood pictures is one in which I am holding my dad’s hand, looking like a fashionista at the age of two. I am proudly sporting a brown-fringed poncho, sunglasses adorn my eyes, and I’m holding on to my teddy bear with my free hand.

MILLAMIA SWEDEN

A few decades have passed since then, but the poncho remains a centerpiece in fashion today. My own daughter is about the same age as I was in that picture and I wanted to design a stylish poncho for her to wear, one with big chunky cables and a matching belt to tie it all together.  I’m ready to start raising the next generation fashionista. And who knows, one of these pictures may end up her favorite childhood picture one day.
