Renaissance Mom: Ellen Gormley

"I keep changing my job title, currently I like "Work while Home Mom". I have an office at home, though the truth is, I use the entire house as my office. When the kids are home from school, I try to be where they are. I bring my work and laptop to the living room, my crochet to the soccer field, I take photos of projects in the dining room because that is where the light is best… it's all about flexibility."

"Here’s a wonderful opportunity to introduce your kiddo to embroidery AND make writing thank you notes a tad more interesting. Or, use this project as a way to advance your child’s stitching techniques in a easy way. My daughter adored making these. More than that, she loved joining her mama for some side-by-side making time. The next day, she said to me, “Mama, its time for our stitching time!” And, my son said, “I wanna do one of those!” Ah, the sweet sound of success!"
