The work of Henri Matisse was a major influence on the design of these grumpy little bunnies, (however
grand that sounds!). A BBC program on his work dealt with the simplicity of shapes and images in his later work and his bold use of colour. Even how his work was referenced in a 'Miffy' book.

The basic shape and design of the bunnies is very simple and doesn't require any difficult construction techniques. Beginners can make strawberry and pineapple hats.
