When I found out I was expecting my first child, I knew that this baby would need some hand knit socks. However I also knew that babies are very skilled at kicking off socks so I wanted a sock that would be sure to stay put. The twisted ribbing on this sock gives a nice snug fit and should do the trick. This is not just a baby sock though, this is a sock for children of all ages! With that in mind I used a linen stitch heel and toe for added durability. The linen stitch toe may not be to everyone's taste though, so instructions are included for a plain wedge toe.
